This site is currently dedicated to my most recent photographic project, which was running photography workshops for children with learning disabilities at Downs View School in Woodingdean, just outside Brighton.
I was teaching six pupils for six months and their work is shown individually on here. The artistic outcome of this project was a documentary film showing the pupils making the work and how the workshops were run, which can be viewed here too.
The project can also be used as an educational tool for teachers and carers who may be looking for new ideas, and education officials who instigate school curriculums. So I have included the details of the activities and things that I have learnt over the months which may be useful (see Project Details section).
The film was shown at the Grand Parade Exhibition Hall in Brighton from the 30th May to the 5th June 2008, as part of the University Degree Show.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
